Ingredient sourcing

The catalogue is what we have available today, not the limit of what we can supply. If your formula needs a plant that is not in the country, we identify a qualified supplier, verify its documentation, bring the sample and handle the whole import.

Who it is for

  • Brands with a closed formula that cannot find the raw material locally
  • Importers who want to consolidate suppliers into a single counterpart
  • Laboratories that need a specific reference for a health registration
  • Anyone who already tried to import directly and got stuck on paperwork

How it works

  1. 1

We define what it actually is

«Extract of X» or «X powder» is not a specification. It takes a latin name and plant part, and then whatever defines each material: marker, percentage and test method for an extract; moisture, particle size and sensory profile for a dehydrated ingredient. Without fixing this first, you compare apples to oranges for the rest of the process.

  2. 2

    Search and pre-qualification

We look for suppliers able to serve that specification and audit them on paper: valid certifications, certificate-of-analysis history, real capacity and consistency between lots. The ones that fail never get to quote.

  3. 3

    Sample and validation

We bring in samples from the finalists and you validate them in your lab or ours, with the same method for all of them. Comparing two analyses run with different methods compares nothing.

  4. 4

    Import and clearance

Tariff code, permits, health registration where it applies, transport and customs. This is the part that eats the most time and the one that most often stalls a project that was already solved technically.

  5. 5

    Listed as a reference

If the ingredient works, it enters the catalogue with its own SKU and becomes available on a short lead time. You stop depending on a one-off import and the next person who asks for it simply finds it.

What we do not do

  • We do not bring in raw material without verifiable proof of origin.
  • We do not quote references without a declared analytical method: a percentage without a method means nothing.
  • We do not swap a species for a similar one to cut the price. If the plant is not the one the formula asks for, we say so.

Shall we start?

Tell us which plant and to which specification. If it is viable you get the costing; if it is not, you get the reason.
