Development & samples

A formulation is not validated against a data sheet: it is validated against the material. We send samples from the real lot, with its certificate of analysis, so that what you test in the lab is exactly what is later supplied in production.

Who it is for

  • Formulators closing a formula who need to test real dose, colour and solubility
  • Brands in product development that do not have a closed specification yet
  • R&D laboratories comparing suppliers with the same analytical method
  • Contract manufacturers validating an ingredient before proposing it to their client

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us about the formulation

Destination market, format — capsule, powder, beverage, emulsion —, expected dose per serving and any constraint you already have: solvent, allergens, kosher, halal, vegan.

  2. 2

    We propose grade and specification

From that we choose the grade: which marker, at what percentage, with which test method, what particle size and on which carrier. When more than one option is reasonable, you get both and the reason.

  3. 3

    We ship the sample

From 100 g to 1 kg, from the lot in stock, with its data sheet and certificate of analysis. We keep a retained sample of that same lot in case a result has to be checked later.

  4. 4

    You validate, we adjust

If the dose does not fit the format, if the colour migrates or if it does not dissolve where it must, the grade changes. That change is cheap now and expensive after buying a lot.

  5. 5

    Scale-up

The same material, the same origin and the same analytical method, in volume. The specification you validated is the one that gets signed.

What we do not do

  • We do not send samples without knowing what product they are for: without that, half the time the wrong grade goes out.
  • We do not develop the formula for you. We supply the ingredient and its documentation; the development is yours or your contract manufacturer's.
  • We do not promise a physiological effect. We guarantee an analytical specification, which is what can be guaranteed.

Shall we start?

Tell us what you are formulating and we will tell you which grade to ask for before you spend a sample.
